Review: Deathtrap Dungeon – 21 years of Cringe PC

I can hardly think of anything when playing this game beyond the awful controls and the ridiculously sexualised characters, there is nothing wrong with sexy looking characters, but when the character looks like something from a bad porno made only to excite 12-year-olds and immature college lads, there is a severe problem with the game.

Playing as a female warrior, I might as well been a stripper, playing as a male I sounded like I had only half a brain … Read Full Article “Review: Deathtrap Dungeon – 21 years of Cringe”

Review: Dragon Awaken: It wasn’t me, it was my evil twin! PC

This review will not focus on the game itself as I didn’t play it, now you may ask WHY didn’t I play it? I shall lay out my case below.

Lying about Lies.

Like many mobile/flash games, Dragon Awaken was caught lying about its gameplay by showing gameplay of other titles, such as Monster Hunter World and trying to pass it off as its own, when confronted the devs give an array of stories, which point to a basic theme … Read Full Article “Review: Dragon Awaken: It wasn’t me, it was my evil twin!”

Review: Azurael’s Circle: Chapter 3 : The shame of RPG Maker. PC

Azurael’s Circle: Chapter 3 would be an excellent high school computer lab project, its a superb amateur title, and while the controls are awful and the animations jarring, it would be the type of game any student could be proud of.

The problem is Haeven being built with the RPG maker Engine or some variant of the RPG Maker, and no matter how much effort you put into an RPG Maker game, it will never see success.

The engine is inadequate and doesn’t … Read Full Article “Review: Haeven: The Problem with RPG Maker.”

Review: TRAPPED: Plastic Men in a Plastic World. PC

Trapped while having all the systems required to make a good zombie survival game fails at every turn, not for lack of effort, but lack of quality, everything looks cheap and tacky, the map looks more like a plastic playset than an actual living world, the enemy ai is poor, and weapons don’t feel right, and while I can’t put my finger on exactly why they feel so awful, one thing I can say is they feel more like toy … Read Full Article “Review: TRAPPED: Plastic Men in a Plastic World.”

Review: WarZone X: without a whimper PC

People talk of the evils of Epic Game Store, but not of Steam Direct.

Epic Game Store gives customers and developers a fair deal, Steam Direct at times gives us lemons like WarZone X, a game which closed its servers within one month of launch, if it’s even launched at all, despite showing the release as being 28 Aug 2019.

Developer David C offered no form of offline mode or explanation for all servers being offline, and we reviewer who … Read Full Article “Review: WarZone X: without a whimper”
