Finally! its not Zombies.

I like zombies as much as anyone, they are fun dead heads to mow down like grass, but its also nice to have a little change, Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation takes inspiration from a more biblical apocalypse, and has the world being infested with all manner of demons, its a great twist on an over-saturated genre and provides a huge variety of foes which require different strategies to overcome.

The game play is very sound, graphics while not amazing fit the game, the base building aspects are on par with games of the genre, the developers captured the mood just right, during early access they changed many aspects based on user feedback and released a solid title that will be enjoyed by many for years to come.

The mechanic which requires you to explore and scavenge for parts and equipment feels just about perfect for the genre, and the crafting system is robust and interesting, overall I was very impressed with the game.

Something for everyone

From walk in the park Casual setting, to the ultra hard setting this game has something for everyone, on easy mode its a city builder with low threat, just enough to feel like you are part of  the lore, scavenger missions give little threat and the base attacks by the demons are mostly token efforts, however in the harder levels you are fighting for your life from the moment its starts, death is to be expected, the question is, just how long can you cheat death?

Worth a play?

Absolutely, if you like the genre and want something different than zombies, you cannot go wrong with Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation, 9/10 and a worthy indie addition to your steam library.
