Review: Age of the Empires II – Definitive Edition PC

A Return to the Familiar Past.

Age of the Empires II – Definitive Edition is the 3rd release of Age of the Empires 2 and honestly, this is what Age of the Empires II – HD should have been, graphics have been given a total overhaul and look beautiful in 2019, the audio score has been given a polish and the familiar crackle/hiss of Age of the Empires 2 music is thankfully missing.

Review: Total War: THREE KINGDOMS: The King Sits Upon The Throne PC

I will begin off by saying this review is yet another that slipped through the cracks, despite having preordered Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, I only found time to dedicate to it October 2019.

Despite the lateness of my review, with the Holiday Season coming up, I thought it was a perfect time to review what is an excellent Fall/Winter past time.

Words are the greatest Weapon.

Diplomacy takes the forefront in Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, I won my most recent … Read Full Article “Review: Total War: THREE KINGDOMS: The King Sits Upon The Throne”

Review: Earth 2150 Trilogy: Aged like Milk. PC

Earth 2150 Trilogy is a piece of RTS history, and while it’s not as iconic as Age of the Empires or Empire Earth, it’s part of the fabric of early 2000s strategy gaming.

Review: Emberlight: this game is perfect for fans of World of Warcraft Pet Battles PC

Proof of the Pudding.

I will begin off by saying I was given this key by the developers for review purposes, and if you have read my reviews for any length of time, you know that having a free key doesn’t mean a positive review.

Over 40% of the games I have been given for review purposes get negative reviews, I give an honest review, and my track record speaks for itself.

She doesn’t look like much but has it

Review: Age of Wonders: Planetfall – Accidentally in Love PC

I have been a long time fan of the strategy genre, and while RTS genre hasn’t impressed me much in the last five years, I have found that other aspects of the genre have thrived, one of which is hex-based strategy-RPG hybrids like Age of Wonders, Heroes of Might and Magic etc.

Age of Wonders 3 was a Triumph (pun intended) of the genre, and engrossed me for hours, upon hearing the same team were back for another game, I … Read Full Article “Review: Age of Wonders: Planetfall – Accidentally in Love”
