Despite arriving late to the extraction genre, Marauders has a lot to offer fans of the genre, and with a larger budget and development team, it could be a serious contender for best in genre.
Star Wars: Battlefront is one of the most clinical and uninspired AAA titles released in the past decade and the worst Star Wars game released since Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes (2009)
Forever controversial and killed off before its time, Star Wars Battlefront 2 remains popular with gamers old and new and will likely do so until Battlefront III (or yet another franchise reboot) occurs sometime later in the 2020s.
Age Of Empires IV proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that in the right developer's hands, a modern RTS is possible and that remastering classic titles is not the only way to ensure good RTS games in 2023.
I didn't expect even to like Fuga: Melodies of Steel, let alone love it, and honestly, it opened my eyes to just how much the anthropomorphic JRPG sub-genre has to offer.
