Is Humankind Worth Playing in 2025?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is, without a doubt, the best Call of Duty title released in the last 15 years.

Call of Duty Vanguard, despite its mixed reception, was the best shooter we received in 2021, offering a standard of quality and quantity that neither Battlefield 2042 or Halo Infinite were able to match. 

Quake Champions is a nice-looking game, albeit one that is trying to relive its youth long after the majority of its target demographic has moved on to other things. 

Rust is one of the most influential titles in the history of PC gaming and Early Access, and while its hardcore gameplay and toxic community make it unsuitable for some, I fully recommend it for those who can put in the hours needed to succeed.

At its core Re:Legend is an excellent monster farming simulator; however, a slew of performance issues, game-breaking bugs, and poor optimisation make it impossible to recommend

Foretales is an excellent game hampered by excessive RNG and over-reliance on time-wasting mechanics to inflate playtime.

While there are much better (and cheaper) asymmetrical multiplayer games on the market for fans of the Predator franchise, there is no better option currently available.

Counter-Strike 2 despite its age, remains one of the most played PC games globally and appears to be immune to changing trends and genre innovation.

The Arena FPS genre is dying, and Diabotical lacks the polish and prestige to change that.
