"As a fan of the The Legend of Heroes franchise, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon feels like a breath of fresh air, but with 20 years worth of interconnected games making up its backstory, I cannot help but wonder if it will be too much to tackle for new or casual players."
There is a place in the market for blockchain games and one day, there will be a blockchain game proving the model is viable; however, based on everything I have seen so far, Shrapnel will not be that game.
The Castlevania Dominus Collection makes some of the most iconic and Castlevania influential games of all time widely accessible on a wide variety of platforms for a fair price, many of which, for the first time.
Sengoku Dynasty is a great game worth playing, but it is not better than Medieval Dynasty, which will cause problems for the developers in the months ahead.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is quite possibly the best Call of Duty game ever, and certainly the best since 2019, proving that you can indeed "teach an old dog new tricks".

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire, at its core, is an excellent turn-based RPG, albeit one held back by lacklustre open-world gameplay, low-quality visuals, and weak dialogue.
Starship Troopers: Extermination has come a long way in a very short time, and while it has been thoroughly overshadowed by Helldivers 2, it is still one of the best Horde survival games on the market.
Funko Fusion is what happens when you take the Lego Games formula and suck all of the fun and charm out of it, resulting in a bland and corporate celebration of B-tier pop culture.
Defender Bros is a decent game in a genre filled with excellent titles. It never had a chance of survival, and while its launch was nothing to write home about, I am sorry to say it's all downhill from here on out.
